Ha, I have been over there a few times, as it's a nine iron from my house, but I've been going over New Zealand, as quite a few of my mates are Artisans over there!

I had a golf lesson once
Smashed the ball 1000 yds and matey says "oh, no professionals"
I said "im not"
he said "well you should be. If I were you I'd take up gold. you'll be number 1 in no time"
To which I replied "no can do. make far too much money debt collecting"

I've been playing for 30 years....I'm terrible.
I think if I had a lesson, the pro would ask me start again with left handed clubs.
Ps do you know michael Owen plays off low single handicap both left and right?

I did this.
They sorted out my swing and grip mainly. Also as I am a tall and handsome chap they sorted out my stance.
I can now hit the ball pretty much straight most times.

Yes a few years ago I had 6 lessons over a course of a summer, then got custom fitted clubs.
The combination of the two reduced by handicap from 19 to 12 over 3 years. Still off 12 now.
